Four individuals apprehended by Lagos police for ‘One-Chance’ Robbery

Four suspects, namely Micheal Adeyeye, Biodun Iyiola, Adeleye Dotun, and Habeeb Azeez, were taken into custody by policemen from the Ilasan Division of the Lagos State Police Command. They are accused of illicitly withdrawing N1.4m from a victim’s account in connection with a one-chance robbery incident in the state.

The arrests were made subsequent to a discreet investigation prompted by a complaint filed by the victim, as stated in a report by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, posted on his X handle on Wednesday.

Hundeyin relayed: ”The Ilasan Division detectives have apprehended Habeeb Azeez, aged 29, Micheal Adeyeye, aged 26, Biodun Iyiola, aged 46, and Adeleye Dotun, aged 27 in Ijora-Badia after conducting a discreet probe into a victim’s report that the aforementioned individuals withdrew N1.4m from her account during a one-chance robbery at Ilasan.

“PS: The lack of facial concealment is due to their already submitted confessional statements. Furthermore, this is intended to aid other potential victims in identifying them.”
