Dominique Pelicot points to the 50 accused: "We are all guilty"

Dominique Pelicot, on trial for sexually assaulting his wife, Gisèle Pelicot, for nine years, and offering her to dozens of men for the same while she was drugged, has blamed the other 50 men in his latest statement.

Today’s statements have revolved around the 51 men accused of sexual assault and aggravated rape against Gisèle Pelicot, before the case is seen for sentencing. “Everyone here, despite the presumption of innocence, is guilty, like me,” said Dominique, who repeatedly left his wife unconscious with high doses of anxiolytics.

Pelicot has stated that he “regrets what happened” while has asked for forgiveness. “I want to tell my family that I love them” were his words. The main accused has also praised “courage” his ex-wife.
