At least four dead and five injured in a shooting at a school in Wisconsin, USA

The City Police Department madisonin the US state of Wisconsinhas reported that at least four people have died and another five have been injured in a shooting near a school.

According to the Madison Police Chief, Shon BarnesAmong the deceased is a minor. The main perpetrator of the shooting has been killed, although security forces continue to search for possible attackers in the center.

Madison authorities had previously sent out a security alert reporting a shooting with “multiple victims” near Abundant Life Christian school. The Police had issued a call to avoid the area.

The governor of Wisconsin, Tony Evershas assured on its social networks that it is “closely following the incident” and has expressed all its support to the students and staff of the educational center, as well as its gratitude to the emergency personnel for “quickly” addressing the incident.

The White House has reported that the president of the United States, Joe Bidenhas been informed of the shooting, and that federal officials are in contact with local authorities in Madison to provide the necessary assistance.
