The Federal government has officially verified the presence of a third case of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
As stated by the Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, the patient is a Nigerian woman who recently arrived in Lagos from the UK. He reassured that she is currently in stable condition and receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Lagos.
The first confirmed case involved an Italian man who is still receiving medical care.
The second case pertained to a Nigerian individual who had been in contact with the Italian man. After undergoing treatment, he tested negative for the disease.
