In Abuja, the funeral rites for the soldiers who lost their lives in Delta State have begun at the National Military Cemetery.
Leading the solemn event is President Bola Tinubu, accompanied by high-ranking government officials, service chiefs, and heads of security agencies. Prayers were offered at the start of the ceremonies for the souls of the departed soldiers and their grieving families.
According to reports from NewsNow, a total of 17 military personnel, including four officers and 13 soldiers, were tragically killed in Delta State while on a peacekeeping mission.
