At the National Military Cemetery in Abuja, the funeral rites for the soldiers who lost their lives in Delta State have begun.
Leading the solemn event is President Bola Tinubu, accompanied by top government officials, service chiefs, and heads of security agencies. Prayers were offered at the start of the rites for the repose of the deceased soldiers and comfort for their families.
According to NewsNow, a total of 17 personnel, including four officers and 13 soldiers, were tragically killed in Delta state during a peacekeeping mission.
