Breaking News: Kidnapping Incident Involving BCS Archbishop, Family, and Clergymen in Anambra State

A shocking incident unfolded as Archbishop Uka Uka Osim of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, together with his wife, Anne Osim, and son, Roland Uka Osim, were abducted at gunpoint.

The unfortunate event took place on the 1st of May 2024 in Abia State while they were en route to Awka in Anambra State for evangelical work, along with three other clergymen.

The additional clergymen kidnapped were identified as Azuka Ochu, Moses Okafor, and Anderson Akwazie.

Bishop Denis Onuoha, the administrator of the spiritual organization in Abia State, confirmed the abduction but mentioned that no ransom demands or communication from the abductors have been received even four days after the incident.

Expressing deep concern, Bishop Onuoha expressed faith in divine intervention for the safe release of the Archbishop and the other victims, while also urging security agencies to take immediate action for their rescue.

Despite the distressing situation, the police authorities in both Anambra and Abia States have yet to make any official statements regarding the kidnapping.
