Leon Balogun may extend his stay at Ibrox beyond the current season, as hinted by Rangers’ boss, Philippe Clement.

Having returned to the Light Blues last summer post his release from Sky Bet Championship side Queens Park Rangers, the 35-year-old’s one-year contract is nearing its conclusion.

Impressing in recent appearances for the Scottish Premiership outfit, Balogun has garnered support from experts and fans urging the club to offer him a new deal.

Clement commended the experienced defender for his resilience, suggesting that this attribute will be pivotal in determining his future with the team.

According to a quote from the Scottish Sun, Clement remarked, “Leon is someone who consistently demonstrates the right mindset and dedication to the club. Hence, this could be a factor to consider when we assess things at the season’s end.”
