APC yet to receive Ganduje’s suspension order

The national legal adviser of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Abdulkarim Kana, stated that the party has not been formally served with the Kano State High Court’s order suspending Abdullahi Ganduje, the party’s chairman, from office.

Speaking to journalists at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, Kana criticized the judgment, pointing out several flaws.

He noted, “We have not received any court order yet; the document presented in court is fraudulent. Any order stemming from such a judgment is invalid due to the fraudulent means by which it was obtained.”

Kana highlighted that the individuals responsible for the suspension are not members of the APC or the Kano State executive committee. He emphasized that the Dawakin Tofa Ward executives have distanced themselves from Ganduje’s purported suspension.

Furthermore, Kana mentioned that the party leadership plans to petition the National Judicial Council (NJC) regarding the order. Additionally, they have lodged a complaint with the Inspector General of Police to address the situation.

Earlier, executives from Dawakin Tofa visited Ganduje to express their discontent with the situation.
