In a surprising revelation, Nollywood star Williams Uchemba shared that he has ceased going to public gyms due to his ambition to secure a place in heaven.
Uchemba explained that he preferred to establish a gym within his residence to avoid the distractions posed by the scantily-clad ladies at public fitness centers.
The married actor took to social media to urge the female gym-goers to dress more modestly in order to prevent them from enticing men into temptation.
Addressing the issue in a video posted on his Instagram account, Uchemba expressed his dismay at the increasing trend of indecent attire amongst women at the gym and announced his decision to take action.
He emphasized, “Ladies, should men stop attending the gym altogether? Your inappropriate dressing is becoming unbearable. I’ve reached my limit.
“Please, consider dressing appropriately when going to the gym. Some of us are committed to our spiritual journey, so please do not divert our focus. Every time one goes to the gym, they are exposed to things they did not anticipate.”
Uchemba continued, “You ladies seem determined to hinder Nigerian men from reaching heaven, but your efforts are futile. I have bid farewell to the gym environment and opted to have a personal set-up at home. I am determined to secure my place in heaven.”
