JJC Skillz has reaffirmed his support for his wife, Funke Akindele, over their decision to host a crowded house party on his 43rd birthday on April 4.
In a video shared by JJC Skillz, he described the house party as a “surprise turn-up” and assured everyone that attended the party at their house in Amen Estate, Lagos, that they are safe and sound. He aligned himself with his wife’s statement that some of the attendees had been lodged in the estate before President Buhari’s lockdown order.
JJC Skillz also disclosed that many of the party’s attendees live in the same estate as them. He showcased Naira Marley’s residence and revealed that the singer and comedian Akpororo, who were present at the celebration, also reside in the estate. Furthermore, he mentioned that actress Eniola Badmus self-isolated in an apartment within the same estate upon returning from the UK.
In a related development, JJC Skillz faced criticism for organizing a house party in their Amen Estate home in Lagos despite the lockdown enforced due to the Coronavirus pandemic. He stated that those who attended the party live in the same estate.
