Two suspects apprehended by police for the murder of a trader in Niger State

Following the tragic killing of a trader in Minna on April 18, the Niger State Police Command has taken two suspects into custody.

On Wednesday, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, the spokesperson for the command, informed reporters in Minna about the arrests, stating that the trader was reportedly murdered by hoodlums around 10 p.m. that day.

An ongoing investigation is being conducted to uncover the truth behind the incident and ensure that the perpetrators are diligently prosecuted.

In addition, Abiodun mentioned that a commercial motorcyclist had also been killed in Minna, promising that the culprits would face justice.

One resident from the area where the motorcyclist was attacked reported that the assailants took the victim’s motorcycle after the incident.

The deceased motorcyclist is survived by a widow, seven children, and other family members.
