Two Suspected Drug Dealers Apprehended by Police in Imo State

On April 18, 2024, the Imo State Police Command successfully apprehended Kelechi Ekeopra and John Aburodo, who are believed to be involved in drug trafficking. During a raid on their criminal hideout in Ihiagwa, Owerri West Local Government Area, a significant amount of suspicious substance, likely Indian Hemp, was confiscated.

Assuring continued diligence, Henry Okoye, the police spokesperson, stated, “The Command remains committed to combating drug-related crimes in Imo State. Those arrested, Kelechi Ekeopra and John Aburodo, are currently in police custody, and a comprehensive investigation is underway to uncover other individuals in the distribution network. Upon completion of our investigation, they will be brought to justice.”
