The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has expressed his “full support” for the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, ahead of the Israeli elections to be held on October 27. Trump has shown this support even though the US president has avoided talking about relations between Tel Aviv and Washington. Through a message published on his social network, the American leader defined Netanyahu as a “strong, brave and brilliant” leader in the face of internal and external political pressures, ensuring that he “will never let down” Israeli citizens.
During his statements on the platform, Trump stated that he has seen him deal with difficult situations, in which “any person would have collapsed” but, in contrast, “he grew stronger, and maintains that same strength to this day.” Also, the American leader highlighted the role of the Israeli leader, stating that “he has been a great warrior prime minister.” “Bibi (as Trump has referred to the Israeli prime minister) has been an even better partner for peace in the fight against the Islamic Republic of Iran,” said the president.
Netanyahu thanks Trump for his support: “Together, we will complete the mission”
After these statements were made public, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked the American president through his official channels. “Thank you, President Trump, for the enormous support and joint work. Together we will complete the mission!” Netanyahu published on his X profile (formerly Twitter) although without specifying this supposed “mission.”
Ministers from Netanyahu’s cabinet joined in the Israeli gratitude. Many of them called this alliance “a strategic message of utmost importance for Israel’s future security.”
