OGUN TECH HUB AND STEM CENTRE

The Ogun Tech Hub and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (Stem) Centre, situated on Kobape Road, Abeokuta Expressway, has been revamped to promote technological innovations and foster a conducive environment for start-up companies and ICT experts. This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to empowering technologists and enhancing the quality of life for Nigerians through technology.

 

LARGEST INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY (ICT) CENTRE IN A NIGERIAN UNIVERSITY

Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, is now home to the largest ICT centre of any Nigerian university. This complex, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, aims to enrich the learning experience of researchers and staff, with a capacity to accommodate 3,000 individuals at a time.

 

IJEBU-EPE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION

The long-overdue Ijebu-Ode-Epe road reconstruction project has finally commenced, fulfilling the governor’s promise to enhance infrastructure and economic growth in the state. The road’s revitalization is expected to alleviate traffic congestion, stimulate socio-economic development, and improve connectivity to Lagos.

 

‘OKO-OWO DAPO’ – EMPOWERMENT INITIATIVE FOR SMES

The ‘Oko-owo Dapo’ initiative, launched in September 2019, focuses on empowering women involved in legitimate SMEs across the state, with plans to reach at least 100,000 women in the first year. This initiative aims to enhance trade and support micro, small, and medium-scale enterprises, reflecting the government’s commitment to improving livelihoods in Ogun.

 

OGUN JOB PORTAL FOR YOUTH EMPLOYMENT

ESTABLISHMENT OF OGUN STATE PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY

ACCESS TO CLEAN WATER ACROSS OGUN

Efforts to address water scarcity included the restoration and repair of faulty transformers in the Ogun State Water Corporation, reflecting the governor’s commitment to ensuring access to potable water for all residents.
