Tragic Incident: Three Zamfara Security Operatives Killed by Bandits


Regrettably, three members of the Zamfara State Community Protection Guard (CPG) have lost their lives in a recent attack by bandits.

The unfortunate incident took place in the Jambako area of Maradun Local Government Area, as revealed by Zagazola Makama, a prominent security analyst specializing in counter-insurgency operations in the Lake Chad region.

A firsthand source named Sanusi Muhammad shared details of the ambush, stating that the bandits struck as the CPG officials were en route to Faru town, seizing their weapons and motorcycles in the process.

“At Jambako area in Maradun local government region of Zamfara State, three dedicated members of the Community Protection Guard (CPG) fell victim to a ruthless ambush,” lamented Zagazola.

Sanusi Muhammad further reported that the bandits conducted the ambush at Tungar Nayarciga while the officials were heading towards Faru town, depriving them of their equipment and means of transportation.

Understandably, this brazen attack has instilled a sense of unease and apprehension among the area’s residents.
