Thierry Henry Criticizes Barcelona for Their Defeat to PSG in UCL

Thierry Henry, the former Arsenal goal scorer, has strongly criticized Barcelona’s performance following their 4-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals on Tuesday.

In front of their own fans, the Blaugrana suffered a defeat against the French champions.

The final score was 6-4 on aggregate, leading PSG to face Borussia Dortmund from the Bundesliga in the semi-finals.

Raphinha put the home side ahead in the 12th minute, but their chances were dimmed after Ronald Araujo was sent off with a red card in the 29th minute.

Despite the setback, Ousmane Dembele managed to equalize against his former club, and Vitinha scored to make it 2-1.

Kylian Mbappe then sealed the victory with a brace.

Henry, who also had a stint at Barcelona, expressed his frustration over his former team’s tendency to make errors.

Henry stated on CBS Sports, “In the Champions League, you need to be flawless because one mistake can cost you the game. It’s incredibly challenging to win the tournament when you have no room for error.”

“Barcelona deserved the red card, and the penalty given in the 61st minute was legitimate,” Henry remarked.

“However, conceding goals was due to panic rather than playing with a man down.

“Maintaining composure in challenging situations is crucial to championship success, regardless of your pedigree and experience,” Henry emphasized.
