The viral video of a man who continues eating during the attack against Trump

The attempted attack that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, suffered during the annual Correspondents’ Dinner held in Washington last Saturday, has already left images of all kinds. One of the most curious is carried out by one of the attendees, who, far from feeling trapped in the chaos of the different shots that were fired, chose to remain seated and calm while continuing with his dinner.

In these images, which were collected through CNN cameras and have already gone viral around the world, you can see Michael Glantz, a well-known agent for artists, completely calm within all the chaos that was occurring around him.

While the rest of the guests chose to flee and protect themselves from this situation, this guest stood out from the rest and did not stop eating his salad, showing a calm attitude and complete parsimony in the face of the tense situation that was occurring.

It is the third assassination attempt on Donald Trump in two years

Last Saturday, April 25, an armed man managed to avoid one of the American president’s security rings at full speed. In fact, he even entered the event room and targeted several of the attendees just before being subdued by a dozen security members.

This event constitutes the third assassination attempt on President Donald Trump in just two years. The most remembered took place in July 2024, when a sniper shot the president during a rally in Pennsylvania, grazing his ear. A few months later, the Secret Service arrested a man armed with a rifle near Donald Trump’s golf course.

One guest chose to take bottles of champagne and wine

In this line of very surreal reactions that took place during this third attempted attack on the president, we must also highlight the intervention of one of the assistants. An unidentified woman decided to grab bottles of champagne and wine to take with her in the midst of the confusion.

Among so many moments of tension and uncertainty, these people have left us two of the most casual and talked-about sequences of the day.
