Speed Darlington, a controversial Nigerian rapper, has urged fans to refrain from comparing him to singer Wizkid.
The singer of ‘Akpi’ pointed out that many fans have been drawing comparisons between him and the Starboy boss, claiming that he is superior.
Speed Darlington expressed strong dissatisfaction with the comparisons being made between himself and Wizkid.
He mentioned that he has spent approximately 8 years in the music industry, emphasizing that he has never crossed paths with Wizkid, despite the singer once recognizing him in New York.
During a recent Instagram live session with his fans, Speed Darlington vented his frustration, stating: “Why are some people suggesting that I am better than Wizkid? What is the connection between Wizkid and myself? Do you comprehend the number of years I have invested in this industry? Seven years. By next year, on the 17th or 16th of May, it will be 8 years in the industry for me, and I have never encountered Wizkid. However, he once acknowledged me in New York by posting one of my songs. Please, cease the comparisons.”
