The Nigeria Women Football League title is the goal for Rivers Angels.
After finishing atop Group B, Rivers Angels booked their spot in the NWFL Super Six playoff.
In the quest for the title, they will face tough competition from Edo Queens, Bayelsa Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, Heartland Queens, and Confluence Queens.
The confident former champions are determined to clinch another title.
Rivers Angels expressed their ambitions, stating, “We are prepared to fight for our dreams and are optimistic about achieving success in Yenagoa.”
Set to take place at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa from May 18th to 26th, 2024, the Super Six playoffs will determine the NWFL champions.
Moreover, the victorious team will secure a spot to represent Nigeria at the CAF Women’s Champions League in the upcoming season.
Rivers Angels previously featured in the 2021 inaugural Champions League edition but faced elimination in the group stage.
