The Premier League Welcomes Ipswich Town after 22 Years

Following a decisive 2-0 victory over Huddersfield on Saturday, Ipswich has successfully secured promotion to the Premier League.

Kieran McKenna’s team had a comfortable three-point lead over Leeds, the third-placed team, prior to the final match of the season and only needed a draw to secure their promotion.

Goals from Wes Burns and Omari Hutchinson sealed the victory for Ipswich.

This achievement marks the completion of historic back-to-back promotions for the Tractor Boys.

Having earned automatic promotion as runners-up to Plymouth in the Sky Bet League One last season, Ipswich is now set to play in the English top flight for the first time since the 2001/02 season.
