Confirmed by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), veteran actor Zack Orji has successfully undergone two brain surgeries.
Emeka Rollas, the national President of AGN, disclosed this reassuring news, emphasizing that Zack is currently in good health.
Expressing his dismay at the circulation of false information about Zack’s demise, Rollas mentioned the necessity for Zack to undergo a post-surgery examination abroad.
“In the era of the internet, there are individuals who seek to gain popularity by spreading baseless rumors. That’s why someone woke up one morning claiming Zack had passed away, to which I promptly responded,” Rollas stated.
“At this moment, Zack is not in a critical state requiring urgent attention. If not for the need for privacy, I could have easily put him on the phone so you could speak with him,” he added.
“He only requires a follow-up examination overseas, for which we are currently pooling resources. Zack has shown immense resilience by surviving two brain surgeries and is currently in high spirits. It is truly disheartening for someone to fabricate news of Zack’s passing,” Rollas concluded.
Recalling the recent false rumors of Zack’s demise on Thursday, Emeka Rollas promptly refuted the speculations.
Zack Orji collapsed on December 31, 2023, and was promptly hospitalized in the intensive care unit at the National Hospital in Abuja. He was later transferred to a private healthcare facility for the requisite surgical procedures.
