The APC’s Warning Against Causing Crises in Ebonyi Central Zone

The call to cease verbal attacks and cyber-bullying in the political space of Ebonyi Central Zone has been made by Peter Nworie, the Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He cautioned that if such behavior continues, the party will take action according to its constitution to sanction individuals causing discord within the party.

In a press statement issued in Onueke, in the Ezza South Local Government Area of the state, Nworie urged party leaders to refrain from actions that could lead to factions or crises within the party.

Emphasizing the need for unity, Nworie asserted that the leadership of the APC in Ebonyi Central Zone cannot stand idly by while certain members pursue personal interests that threaten the party’s unity.

Expressing concern over the increasing verbal attacks and cyber-bullying within the party, Nworie highlighted the potential consequences of such actions on the party’s cohesion.

He stressed the importance of prioritizing the stability of the APC in Ebonyi Central Zone for the benefit of its members and the overall development of the state and nation.

Noting the recent wave of defections in the state, Nworie welcomed new members to the APC and urged them to uphold peace and unity within the party.

Referring to the party’s constitution, Nworie mentioned that Article 21 empowers party leadership to discipline members engaging in activities that could divide the party or disrupt its organization.

He called on those involved in divisive behavior to embrace peace and unity or face sanctions from the party’s leadership in the zone.

Reaffirming their loyalty to the party and government leadership, Nworie praised the achievements of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru and the efforts of the state chairman, Stanley Okoro Emegha, in unifying the party.

Encouraging party members in Ebonyi Central to work together for the progress of the party and the state, Nworie concluded by emphasizing the importance of unity for collective success.
