Showing solidarity, Tony Okocha, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, paid a visit to the Martins Amaewhule-led faction of the House of Assembly on Friday.
During the visit, Okocha assured the members of unwavering support from the leadership and members of the APC in Rivers State.
While addressing the group, Okocha expressed his condemnation of the recent incidents of alleged intimidation by Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
In a statement that he issued, Okocha emphasized the importance of the Assembly’s role in legislating for the state and urged the members to stay resolute in their responsibility of enacting meaningful laws.
He reiterated the APC’s commitment to standing by the Assembly members during difficult times.
