Allegation: Russia Claims Ukraine Provided Financial Support for Moscow Concert Hall Attack

During a press conference, the Russian government accused Ukraine of financially backing the recent terror attack at a Moscow concert hall.

This revelation was made by a special investigative committee on Thursday, shedding light on the tragic incident that resulted in over 140 casualties last week.

The assault, which took place at a major music venue just outside Moscow, was carried out by a group of terrorists described by Russian President, Vladimir Putin, as radical Islamists.

The attackers embarked on a shooting spree, indiscriminately killing individuals as they made their way to the main hall where they set off a fire.

Authorities in Russia suggested that the terrorist plot at Crocus City Hall may have been orchestrated by Ukrainian intelligence services leveraging Islamist militants as surrogates.

The committee declared, “Concrete evidence indicates that the perpetrators of the terror attack received substantial financial backing, including cryptocurrency, from Ukraine to facilitate the planning and execution of the crime.”

In the aftermath of the tragedy, the death toll climbed to 140 individuals, as confirmed by Russian Health Minister, Mikhail Murashko.

He noted that many of the severely injured victims succumbed to their wounds following the devastating terrorist assault.
