Law enforcement officials from the Anti-Crime Patrol Unit of Agbor Division in Nigeria have apprehended a 25-year-old man named John Chikwuji for being in possession of an illegal firearm.
During the operation, officers confiscated a Beretta Pistol from the suspect.
John Chikwuji, hailing from Ekuku-Agbor community, was taken into custody on 27/03/2024 around 1800hrs.
His arrest took place while he was en route to his community and was subsequently intercepted by the police.
Confirmation of this arrest came from the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, in a statement provided to NewsNow.
DSP Bright Edafe mentioned that an investigation into the matter is currently underway.
