Governor Radda of Katsina State Administers Oath to 6 New Permanent Secretaries


In an effort to enhance the administrative capacity of the state, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has sworn in six new permanent secretaries.

The ceremony took place on Thursday at the Katsina Government House, in the presence of top government officials and well-wishers of the appointees.

The individuals appointed as permanent secretaries are: Jamilu Yakubu Batagarawa, Samaila Yusuf Bindawa, Lawal Suleiman Abdullahi, Hamza Mani Tafashiya, Ahmed Hassan Mashi, and Ibrahim Muazu

The oath of office was administered by the state’s Chief Judge, Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar, in the presence of government officials and well-wishers.

In his remarks at the event, Governor Radda emphasized that the appointment process was strictly based on merit.

He highlighted that the six newly appointed permanent secretaries successfully navigated a rigorous examination process to secure their roles.

Governor Radda congratulated them and emphasized the crucial role they will play in addressing the economic and security challenges faced by the state.

“Your appointments coincide with a critical period for Katsina,” mentioned Radda.

“Given the significant economic and security challenges we are confronting, your expertise, dedication, and leadership will be indispensable in overcoming them.”

He encouraged the new appointees to collaborate effectively and unite in their efforts to promote prosperity and peace in Katsina.

The governor further reiterated his administration’s dedication to addressing the security issues that have impacted the state.

Radda also issued a call to the state’s residents, urging them to participate in community initiatives and offer prayers, especially during the ongoing Ramadan fast, to contribute towards resolving the challenges confronting the state.
