New head coach appointed by Sporting Lagos: Abdullahi Biffo

Abdullahi Biffo has been named as the new head coach for Sporting Lagos, following the departure of Paul Offor, who was relieved of his duties by the club recently.

With experience managing various top clubs in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), Biffo steps into the role with a proven track record.

His previous stints include leading teams such as Abia Warriors, Kwara United, Katsina United, and Niger Tornadoes.

Notably, Biffo successfully guided Kwara United to qualify for the CAF Confederation Cup in 2021, showcasing his managerial prowess.

Accolades in the form of six State Federation Cup victories and two Nigeria National League titles further attest to Biffo’s capabilities.

Sporting Lagos is currently positioned 11th on the NPFL standings as they look to Biffo to steer the team in a positive direction.

Biffo’s inaugural match at the helm will see him face his former team, Katsina United, at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium this coming Sunday.
