The famed Nigerian vocalist, Harrysong, recently treated his adored grandmother to an extravagant feast at a pricey eatery.

In videos captured online, the vocalist’s grandmother was seen relishing her meal when Harrysong informed her about the price of the food.

Harrysong’s grandmother was taken aback when he revealed that a plate of rice cost N30,000. Surprised, his grandmother let out a loud scream and interrogated him for squandering his money.

The video, which has become viral, has triggered a lot of discussion.

A few years ago, during an interview with Planet TV, Harrysong discussed the disagreement he had with his former record label, Five Star Music.

The crooner of ‘Reggae Blues’ stated that he had to go back to the Five Star team to apologize for all his misdeeds after conversing with his grandma.

In his own words:

“I wouldn’t want to say that they were expecting us to be quarreling and fighting forever… we reached a compromise and settled… My grand-mum spoke to me and said, ‘Boy, I have known you with these people, I have blessed you with these people…'”

The vocalist, who appears to have a strong affection for his grandmother, recounted how she sold wrappers to sponsor his music career.

Mr. Song, as he often refers to himself, said his granny sold wrappers to pay for his school fees and studio sessions.

She has refused to come to Lagos, so I have no choice but to always go and visit her.
