Shocking Incident: Trio Apprehended for Mugging Stranded Commuters in Lagos During Lockdown

Amid the Coronavirus lockdown in Lagos, operatives of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command have apprehended three suspects for mugging stranded commuters.

 

The suspects targeted passengers stranded in a vehicle around Oshodi, robbing them of N10k in cash and stealing their phones. These culprits were eventually traced to their hideout.

 

A Twitter post by the RRS highlighted the incident:

 

STAY AT HOME: These three individuals were apprehended by the police early this morning for robbing passengers stranded in a vehicle late last night around Oshodi. They snatched N10k and two Samsung phones (A70 and 7A+) from the occupants.

They were arrested at their hideout, and the stolen items were recovered.
