Rivers United’s Remaining Fixtures Plan Disclosed by Eguma

Stanley Eguma, the head coach of Rivers United, has unveiled the strategy for the team’s pending matches this season.

Having five games yet to play, Rivers United had to reschedule these matches due to their participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.

“Our approach will be to tackle each game individually as they all hold significant importance,” Eguma expressed.

“Recognizing our current position in the standings, we are determined to make positive strides to climb up,” he added.

“Our singular focus is on moving up the ladder and we are confident it is achievable; we are not entertaining any other outcome,” Eguma emphasized.

While highlighting the importance of player well-being, he mentioned, “It’s crucial to allow the players some rest considering they are human. Hence, squad rotation is necessary to inject fresh energy and dynamism.”

Currently positioned at the 13th spot on the table with 40 points, Rivers United is gearing up to face Bayelsa United in a matchday 32 showdown at the Samson Siasia Stadium today.
