Reappearance of Long Queues as Fuel Scarcity Strikes Zamfara

Parts of Zamfara State are currently experiencing a shortage of fuel, leading to the closure of many filling stations.

A check by NewsNow revealed that most filling stations in Gusau, Kaura Namoda, Tsafe, and surrounding areas were not operating.

The price of a liter of fuel in these areas ranges between N800 and N850.

Despite attempts to speak with some Independent oil marketers, they declined to provide any comments on the situation.

Drivers and motorcyclists interviewed by NewsNow expressed disappointment at the reemergence of long queues at the filling stations.

One individual, Abubakar Tukur, remarked, “We were relieved when the long queues disappeared, but unfortunately, the issue has resurfaced.”
