When asked about the upcoming Champions League quarter-final second leg against Manchester City, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti remained calm, stating that he is not losing any sleep over the match.
During a press conference on Tuesday, the Italian expressed his confidence in Madrid’s ability to secure a historic away win against City.
Ancelotti confidently stated, “I do not lose sleep over anything. I have full faith in my team, the players, and our achievements this season.”
He added, “Statistics are meant to be shattered.”
Real Madrid had an intense 3-3 draw with City last week at the Santiago Bernabeu, and in the previous season, Ancelotti’s squad suffered a 4-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.
