Breaking news suggests that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and Meghan, are expected to land in Nigeria this Friday.
Upon an invite from the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, Prince Harry and Meghan will embark on a three-day private visit to Nigeria.
During their time in Nigeria, the couple will engage with wounded soldiers and their families, a cause close to Prince Harry’s heart as the founder of Invictus Games.
The visit, slated from the 10th to the 13th of May 2024, aims to support the recovery efforts of wounded soldiers.
Air Vice Marshal Abidemi Marquis of Defence Headquarters shared, “With 80% of our soldiers involved in the recovery program, we see positive outcomes in their mental health and overall well-being.”
Previously announced in April by the Nigerian Defence Headquarters, the royal duo will have the opportunity to meet with military personnel and enjoy various cultural activities during their stay in Nigeria.
