Looking ahead to the upcoming match against Katsina United, Sporting Lagos’ forward Paschal Durugbor is optimistic about his team’s performance.
This weekend, the modest Sporting Lagos team will be visiting Katsina United at the Mohammed Dikko Stadium.
In their 15 away games this season, Sporting Lagos has managed to secure just three points.
Expressing his perspective, Durugbor mentioned that a draw would not be unfavorable for his team.
He emphasized, “Participating in away games challenges the players mentally due to the stress of traveling and other factors.”
He added, “We are actively addressing this aspect and are hopeful for a turnaround.”
Durugbor further commented, “As we travel to Katsina this weekend, our objective is to give our best effort and strive to secure at least one point from the game.”
Currently, Sporting Lagos holds the 11th position on the table with 38 points accumulated from 30 games.
