The Nigerian striker, Paul Onuachu, has made it clear that he wishes to continue his stint with Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
Onuachu made the move to Trabzonspor last summer on a season-long loan from Southampton in the Sky Bet Championship.
During his time at Trabzonspor, the 29-year-old has left a significant mark by scoring nine goals and providing three assists in 18 matches.
Trabzonspor is keen on securing Onuachu’s services permanently, but financial constraints are proving to be a hurdle in making this happen.
It is rumored that the loan agreement could possibly be extended for another season.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Onuachu has stressed that his main focus is on staying in Turkey.
