Comrade Hamza Galadima Zuru, the esteemed chairman of the Kebbi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has sadly passed away.
News of his demise was conveyed in an official statement by Secretary of zone A, Abduralzak Bello Kaura.
After a prolonged battle with illness, Zuru breathed his last at the Federal Medical Center (FMC) in Birnin Kebbi.
One cannot overlook Zuru’s significant contributions to the advancement of journalism in Kebbi State.
During this period of mourning, our hearts and prayers go out to his family, friends, colleagues, and the wider journalism community. We grieve the loss of an exceptional leader and comrade.
