According to The Nation Newspaper, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and socialite Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, have come to an agreement to resolve the accusation of misusing the Nigerian currency outside the courtroom.
The decision for an out-of-court settlement was made known during the recent court session.
In the presence of Justice Kehinde Ogundare, Cubana Chief Priest faced three charges linked to inappropriate handling of the national currency at a public event, which goes against the Central Bank Act of 2007.
