'It only made the victory more sweet '- Super Falcon star, Asisat Oshoala reacts after Nigerian officials didn't vote for her to win the CAF Award

The reaction of Super Falcon star, Asisat Oshoala, to not receiving votes from Nigerian officials for the CAF Award was a tweet where she expressed how the victory was made sweeter. The 25-year-old, who plays for Super Falcons of Nigeria and FC Barcelona, won the award for the 4th time at the CAF Player of the Year Awards in Egypt. She beat competitors from Cameroon and South Africa to clinch the award. It was revealed that five Nigerian officials, including the four-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year, Perpetua Nkwocha, did not vote for her. Asisat Oshoala responded on Twitter, saying, "It only made the victory more sweet .....CHILD OF THE CONTINENT.
