A 30-year-old housewife, Hauwa Lawal, has been arrested by men of the Kano state police command for allegedly pushing her co-wife Zuwaira Sani, 35 and her 18-month-old son into a well. Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, said the police received a report on Friday January 3rd that the suspect had a misunderstanding with Sani and that during the argument, she pushed Sani into the well. This Monday morning, a fatal accident was reported along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.   According to a Facebook user, Edeh Chukwuka, who shared graphic images from the scene, the incident occurred at the Shagamu axis. It appears that a Lexus SUV crashed into a stationary truck on the expressway, causing severe impact on the driver and the front passenger.
