Kylie Jenner, 22, remains Forbes’ youngest ‘self-made’ billionaire for the second consecutive year following the sale of 51% of her cosmetics brand
According to the annual World’s Billionaires list released by Forbes, Kylie Jenner, the beauty mogul, has once again been recognized as the youngest 'self-made' billionaire at the age of 22.
After selling 51% of her Kylie Cosmetics brand to Coty Inc. for $600 million, she retained her position as the youngest 'self-made' billionaire. She managed to surpass Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, 35, in 2019 for this title.
The recent deal, which concluded in January, has elevated the valuation of her business to approximately $1.2 billion. She continues to retain sole ownership of the remaining 49 percent stake.
Forbes also disclosed that as a result of the sale, Kylie Jenner is only one of 2,095 individuals in the world with a ten-digit fortune.
