‘Yahaya Bello urged not to shame former governors’ – Ortom’s advice
In a recent development, Samuel Ortom, the former governor of Benue State, has given counsel to the incumbent Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, urging him to cease evading authorities and present himself to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
It is noteworthy that the anti-corruption agency, EFCC, issued a warrant for Bello's arrest last week on allegations related to money laundering. Bello is facing accusations of misappropriating more than N80 billion during his tenure as the Governor of Kogi State.
