Following a rescheduling by the Nigeria Premier Football League, the matchday 21 fixture between Rivers United and Remo Stars has received a new date.
The game is now set to take place on Sunday, May 5th, after being delayed initially due to Rivers United’s involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Confirmation of the rescheduled match was communicated to both clubs in a memo by NPFL’s chief operating officer, Davidson Owumi.
The match is scheduled to be held at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
Rivers United has been on an impressive unbeaten streak in their last four league matches.
