Leicester City Striker Iheanacho Drops Hint on Possible Exit

In the midst of swirling rumors about a potential exit from Leicester City, Kelechi Iheanacho has chosen to keep his options open regarding his future at the club.

Iheanacho’s current contract with the Foxes is set to expire at the end of June.

At 27 years old, the striker has attracted interest from clubs both in and outside of England.

His relationship with Leicester City’s manager, Enzo Maresca, soured after he decided to represent Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations despite the manager’s disapproval.

Since returning from Cote d’Ivoire in February, Iheanacho has had limited playing time, making only four appearances for the team.

During the last game of the season against Rovers, he came off the bench to play the final 12 minutes.

During an interview with Nabila Fash on footiewithnabila, he expressed his joy at the team’s promotion, stating, “I feel good, I feel great, it’s a massive achievement so I’m really happy.”

When questioned about his future plans, Iheanacho responded saying, “For now, I don’t have a clear picture. I’m still under contract with Leicester.”
