The supporters of Naira Marley went against the lockdown orders and gathered at the court to express their backing for the singer. Despite the state government’s social distancing directive, fans of Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, turned up at the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Ogba. They showed their support as he faced charges for violating the government’s measures.

Naira Marley and politician Babatunde Gbadamosi were arraigned, but the state government chose not to pursue the case further. The decision was made to not proceed with the prosecution. Despite the lockdown in place, the artist’s fans showed up in solidarity.
