María Corina Machado hopes soon "impeccable choices" in Spain and attacks Zapatero: "It has not helped facilitate a democratic exit in Venezuela"

María Corina Machado has charged against former president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, who in her opinion “has not helped in the least to accelerate and facilitate a democratic solution” in Venezuela. He has even said that Donald Trump is the only head of state who has risked the lives of his citizens for the freedom of Venezuela. The Venezuelan leader, María Corina Machado, has sent a clear message against the government of Pedro Sánchez, asking this morning in Madrid for “impeccable elections” to be held soon in Spain, ensuring that her preferences are “very clear”, and that her goal is to return to Caracas before the end of 2026.

Supported by former president Felipe González, the Nobel Peace Prize winner put an end to her visit to Spain at an informative breakfast, in which she took stock of the last few days. María Corina Machado has confessed that she has felt truly supported by the Spanish and Venezuelan people. And today also for Felipe González, who hopes that he can return home soon – with security guarantees – and also the millions of exiles around the world who, according to former President González, have been suffering for too long from the repression of the Venezuelan regime.

Felipe González has been clear. He has pointed out that “violence is only on one side and the rest is an unarmed people who suffer the rogue violence of a dictatorial regime.” He added that he wants María Corina to return to Venezuela with absolute security guarantees.” The former president has compared the amnesty of the process in Spain with the amnesty of Delcy Rodríguez, ensuring that the embezzlement of a “robolution” cannot be amnesty. And not only that, but Felipe González has admitted this morning that Edmundo González is today the elected president of Venezuela.
