Manchester United’s Concerns Over Replacing Ten Hag with Tuchel in EPL

There is unease among senior Manchester United officials regarding the potential clash between Thomas Tuchel and the club’s leadership should he be chosen to succeed Erik ten Hag.

Tuchel is set to depart Bayern Munich at the conclusion of the current season, with the official announcement expected as soon as February.

The club’s new co-owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, along with his INEOS associates, are reportedly evaluating Ten Hag’s future and considering alternative candidates for the role.

Having previously managed Chelsea in the Premier League, Tuchel is among the names being considered for the position.

However, as per the Times, concerns have been raised about the German coach’s history of disagreements with his superiors at previous clubs.

Tuchel’s tenure at Mainz ended in 2014 due to a dispute with the directors regarding transfer resources, while his tenure at Borussia Dortmund was terminated three years later following a breakdown in trust between him and the club’s board.
