Suspension of Nine Zaki Mairiga Players by NLO Due to Assault on Match Official

In response to the recent incident, the Nationwide League One (NLO) has taken the decision to suspend nine players from Zaki Mairiga FC.

This action comes after the players were found guilty of assaulting a match official during their match against Gombe Warriors.

As a consequence of Zaki Mairiga’s disruptive behavior, the NLO has also awarded three points and three goals to Gombe Warriors.

In addition to the sporting penalties, Zaki Mairiga has been fined N100,000 as a disciplinary measure for the misconduct of its players on the field.
