Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes faces injury concern ahead of Crystal Palace vs Man Utd

Concerns have been raised about Bruno Fernandes’ availability for Manchester United’s upcoming Premier League clash against Crystal Palace, as revealed by United’s manager, Erik ten Hag. The match is scheduled for Monday night.

United is determined to recover from their recent disappointing 1-1 draw at home to Burnley, which dashed their hopes of securing a spot in the Champions League next season.

Currently trailing sixth-placed Tottenham by six points in the race for a place in the Europa League, ten Hag’s squad faces an uphill battle in their remaining fixtures.

Despite United’s turbulent season, Fernandes has been a standout performer, notching 10 goals and providing seven assists in the league so far. However, the 29-year-old may have to sit out only his second game of the campaign due to a minor injury sustained in the Burnley match, putting his participation in the Selhurst Park trip in doubt.

Reflecting on the situation, ten Hag stated, “After the Burnley game, we encountered an issue with Bruno. His availability for Monday is uncertain, but knowing Bruno, we can never count him out for any match. He is determined to make himself fit for the game,” the manager informed the press on Thursday.
