An official ceremony took place on Wednesday as Prophet Emmanuel Alogbo was formally instated as the 6th Baba Aladura and spiritual head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide.
Since the passing of his predecessor, Samuel Abidoye, in November 2023, Alogbo had been serving as the acting spiritual leader.
According to a statement on the church’s website, “The promotion of Most Senior Special Prophet Dr. Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo to the esteemed position of Spiritual Father and Chairman of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church marks a significant moment in the church’s history, ushering in a new era of leadership and guidance for its global members.”
The installation of Alogbo was attended by prominent figures within the church, with the anointing ceremony conducted by the Olori of Cherubim and Seraphim Unification, His Most Eminence Pro. Dr. S. A. Alao J.Pil., adding solemnity and grandeur to the occasion.
Alao urged the new Baba Aladura to embrace his responsibilities with courage and strength.
Members of the congregation recognized Alogbo for his embodiment of divine wisdom, compassion, and spiritual insight.
Expressing his commitment to the CSMC Worldwide, the new Baba Adura stated, “I pledge to continue the legacy of progress set by the late Baba Aladura Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye.
“I am devoted to ensuring that the C&S Movement Church advances, spreading its message of faith and love across the globe.”
